Our mandate is to trust Him

My night consisted of dreams and the Holy Spirit saying to tell the people to trust God, that this is a time to trust God and not lean on our own understanding and to acknowledge God in all of our ways. (Proverbs 3:5,6)

Then I started hearing singing and I recognized it was the ending to a song, over and over about trust. I then woke up and there was a scripture in my notification that said, “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.” Jeremiah 17:7 NLT

This was a clear message, and it got my attention. I know how the Lord speaks to me, so upon further prayer and quiet time to listen, the Lord revealed that changes will come suddenly, good and bad. Be alert, and stay prayerful. Huge events will happen in our world. There is a spirit of antichrist in the world preparing for the AntiChrist. There is also a spirit of division that will grow within the church and world. You will see more that was in the dark coming to the light. The Lord is not to be mocked.

Walk by faith and not sight, with what you see going on around you and even within your family. I am doing the same. There are things in my life that looking on the surface could shake my faith, but God has proven Himself to me, so that I can wait on Him and be of good cheer. (John 16:33)

Adjust your thinking and be mindful of what you’re taking in on a regular basis; what you see and hear.

  • Read your Word daily
  • Pray daily
  • Worship daily
  • Fast weekly
  • Seek Godly counsel
  • Endure through your trials
  • Be mindful of the words you speak
  • Practice silence; Talk less and listen more
  • Desire God’s will above yours
  • Be light and salt

It’s the mercy and grace of God that keeps us and nothing we can do to earn righteousness, but there are things we can do do hear Him clearer. We can adjust ourselves to spend quiet time with Him. (1 Kings 19: 11-13) There are things we can do to please Him. (Proverbs 16:7 | Romans 8:8)

If you belong to God, know that your citizenship is in heaven. With that being the case, adjust your thinking to a kingdom citizen. (Philippians 3:20) There is a kingdom of darkness and God’s Kingdom. We can further one or the other. Think about it. Which kingdom are you advancing by your speech and actions?

The days are getting darker, people more violent, and our world is changing rapidly. it’s not all bad, but good and God is not the same.

But if you’re on the right team, you will be good. God has you covered. Trust Him. Don’t jump teams or stay neutral as people do in sports. Choose a side and ride it out.

Remember on Gods team, we win!

In closing, I know you are going through something because who isn’t? We share this human experience yet our trials don’t take away the magnificence and power of God. We see events on the news and horrific stories being shared on social media daily and it causes worry, anxiety, fear, and in many cases, anger. The Lord wants us to hold on to His word, and ingest it daily, as we do natural food. It will strengthen us.

He is the same God; yesterday, today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)

I love you all

  1. Amen !! Thank you for your Word Sister Tara. It is so much going on in our world now, last night I found myself just thanking God for the little things we usually take for granted. I continue to pray for His Covering and Protection.

  2. Right on time, thank you for obedience and this word. Indeed God is in control and the more we trust him we will begin to have peace in the knowledge of Him.
